Inexpensive and easy to make. Made from 1×6 (25x150mm) boards.
Downloadable plans and step-by-step build instructions with plenty of pictures.
The whole box and screen frame can be cut out of 10 lengths of 1×6 (25 x 150mm) boards 6ft (1800mm) long, and two only pieces of 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 (38 x 38mm) boards 39-3/8″ (1000mm) long. Make two or three of these to create a nice private area.
This wheeled planter box and screen frame can give you a private area in an otherwise open space.
It is 43-3/8″ (1100mm) long by 16″ (410mm) wide and from the ground to the top of the screen is 6ft (1800mm) high, but of course the plants could go higher than that to give more screen. The screen frame can be placed in the front, middle, or back of the box – it just simply slots in.
The unit is on wheels so can easily be pushed around or wheel-locked in place.
All measurements are given in both Standard inches and Metric (mm).
