Large 12ft (3.6m) long picnic table Easy to make with easy to follow plans.
A solid 12ft (3.6m) long picnic table constructed out of 2×6 (50x150mm) lumber. This downloadable PDF file includes plan drawings, shopping list, cutting list with a plan drawing of every angled piece, and step-by-step building instructions with plenty of helpful drawings. Also drawings of where all the screws and bolts go.
The plans are written in both Imperial (ft and inches) and metric (mm).
To build the picnic table you will need:
- 15 pieces of 2×6 (50 x 150mm) lumber 12ft (3.6m) long.
- 116 exterior wood screws @ 3″ (75mm) long.
- 64 exterior wood screws @ 4″ (100mm) long.
- 12 only 1/2″ (12mm) galvanized carriage/coach bolts 4-1/2″ (120mm) long with washers and nuts.
A friend and I followed these plans to the letter and built a strong, good looking table in 2 1/2 days. The plans were detailed, easy to follow, and quite accurate. I highly recommend them
